Sorry it's been a few days since this appointment and I haven't updated you guys.
Trey went in to see the ENT on Wednesday to check the tubes in his ears. He has had the tubes since November 2006 and his doctors wanted to look at them to make sure they didn't need to be taken out. They are fine so we will just keep getting them checked. But while we were there we spoke to his doctor about his recent strep throat, snoring, and allergies. Trey had his tonsils and adenoids removed in 2006 as well. The doctor did a test where he put a camera in his nose to see down his throat (we got to watch, it was sort of gross and sort of neat), the doctor saw drainage from his allergies and discovered that Trey's adenoids are growing back. He said this can happen but is rare. So, we are going to schedule an appointment for sometime in the future to see an allergy doctor in Birmingham and possibly next summer have his adenoids removed....again.
I guess now we know why Trey has been sick lately and having a hard time shaking his colds.

Monday was Botox in Birmingham day
We went to Birmingham to have Trey's Botox done on his left leg, hand and arm Monday. Dr. Law said that we are going to have to start thinking about the surgery now instead of Botox because of how tight Trey is. I guess I will give them a call after the holiday and try to find out if we need to plan on having the heel chord cut within a year or repeat Botox in 6 months. We really wanted to avoid having the heel chord cut, sometimes it doesn't work and sometimes it has to be repeated and then the what ifs with running and jumping activities, but we've been stretching at home and he wears his brace. Hattie, one of Trey's Physical Therapists, told us the last time she saw him that she thought we were going to have to give into it, she was hoping like us that we could avoid surgery. But other than all of that Trey's Botox appointment went well. He has a blue cast and will get that changed every Monday until we can have it off, at least 4 weeks. He is good. He did get upset that he couldn't take a tub bath tonight and he went to where his school scissors are in the cabinet at home and was going to cut his cast off so he could get in the tub and have bubbles. We got the scissors away from him before he had them and calmed him down and told him we were going to take showers and try to add bubbles to that. It calmed him down but the bubbles in the shower didn't really work well.

Trey saying the pledge at the dinner table
Trey decided to say the pledge at dinner tonight. It was cute and I have never thought about whether he knows it or not.

Man vs. Machine--Dryer, behind the dryer
Saturday night, actually a few minutes ago, water was all over our washroom floor. Something in the washing machine when it was washing had made some water come out of the top of the washing machine so Jason had to move the dryer to clean the floor. He didn't know that I was recording this, it was funny, but maybe you had to be there.
