Christmas cards and Shutterfly!

I love Christmas!!! There's the music, lights, trees, decorations, presents, cards, and my FAVORITE, Christmas pictures!!!!

Every Christmas I set a goal to take pictures of the kids and try to make a photo card, every Christmas I fail. I may get one or two good pictures of the kids but then I run out of time to get them made into cards. This year I have set this goal again and I intend on keeping it. The kids have seen Santa twice and pictures were taken so I started thinking about what kind of photo card I wanted to make then I saw a post from a friend about a promotion that Shutterfly is offering.

Got great news today!!!

Trey's teacher emailed me today asking me what we thought about Trey getting a report card. He is in 2nd grade and has never gotten a real report card, he has an IEP which sets his standard and grades. His teachers have been giving him test (spelling, reading, math) like the other kids, he doesn't have as many spelling words and his test might be oral, he has been making A's and B's on most everything they have tested him on so they are wanting to see if we would like for him to get a report card. We are SO proud of him!!!!

August 17 and 18, 2010-I don't know how I missed it but I missed getting Emily's picture on the first day of school. I took her picture with my cellphone on the second day of school but it didn't turn out that well. I remembered the third day and had the camera, so FINALLY a good "first day of school picture", on the third day.

After she came home from her mom's and before school started it was time for a new hairstyle. She got a cut and a lot more highlights.

Krispy Kreme

We went to Montgomery for Trey to see the allergy doctor. He has been taking allergy medicine almost all of his life and after the allergy tests he has no allergies. After the allergy doctor we stopped at Krispy Kreme. Trey got a donut and a hat, he like the hat more than the donut. Then we had a nice visit with Aunt Wanda, got to see Uncle Eddie for a little bit, we picked Cody up, then dinner with Aunt Karen, Mr. Evans, Maria and her family.

Trey's FIRST fishing adventure

Trey went fishing at Maw-Maw's pond for the first time (ever) this summer. Thank you, Uncle Chuck for the fishing pole. Trey loved fishing!!! He caught a leaf fish, a leaf. He thought it was a real fish though.
